Can Germans capture Indian market without basic knowedle of local language-work culture?

Most of the foreign companies-Germans think that they can capture full Indian market with the help of english language only. Will this work?
Each Indian state has it's own language and work culture. All Indians too have to adopt to local work culture and local language.
Will Germans be able to capture Indian market with their German English and Indian English also known as "Hinglish"

Germans have conquered other commercial markets before. Germans are able to establish new markets due to the quality in performance and the quality of the goods. It is well known that 95% of Indians are speaking English due to the fact that the existing multible languages in India. Some times and Indian national can't understand what his fellow countryman is telling him. I would suggest that all labels to be printed in Hindu and English as the Arabic Gulf States are insiting upon. Are you able to change your import laws??????

Well, we're in a world market now and India wants to get as much of foreign markets as they can, so why shouldn't Germany do the same. We need to have a world culture combining the best of all, and not be only interested in ourselves. Other peoples are just as important as we are and if we don't accept that, we are not going to survive as a species!

(I'm sure that Germans as smart enough to know that they need more than just the English language. They are quite an advanced civilisation, make no mistake).

The problem is that Indians (especially hindus) are ashamed of their own culture. There is a second dimension to the problem that you are missing. 83% of Indians are Hindu and that has become reflected in the culture. The government (which comprises of marxists, communists, pseudo-secularists and pro-minority politicians), the media, the education system has incepted the belief in Indians that anything to do with Indian culture and especially hindu culture is communalistic and bad. Germans can only understand Indian language and culture if the Indians themselves make the effort to teach others about their culture. However form my observation, Indians and hindus are ashamed of their culture.

They not only need the language but need an understanding of trends in the country. Wal Mart proved this years ago when they started up in China. It was a massive failure because they predicted every bit of it wrong, they suggested the lifestyles of people in china were the same as those of american people. After millions dollars of investment they have established a market in China.



If the German's do not have millions of Euro, then they need to plan it out carefully, every step of the way.
