How do I send money to a Germany man that did me a favor?

This man paid a 27 EURO invoice for me and I am trying to repay him for his generosity. I live in the US and everything I have checked into cost almost as much as I want to send. Any suggestion's are welcome.

If he has a paypal account you can use that for almost free. Or you can use western union.com and its about 5$ to send a money order, or you can go to your bank and ask for an international money order in euros and send that by regular mail..
